If you feel sick or have any COVID-like symptoms, please stay home and consider getting tested. If you feel you prefer to stay home for any reason. online worship streaming will continue.
Properly worn MASKS are encouraged by all;

Online worship is still available live during in-person worship time for those worshiping at home

Support for Baldwin GEO Detainees
“Scripture reminds us of our shared humanity and the sacred responsibility to welcome and protect the vulnerable. Caring for immigrants and refugees is a consistent and powerful theme appearing in many verses across both the Old and New Testaments.” (sojo.net)
Immigrant men, women and families from around the US have been detained in facilities in Baldwin, MI. As a congregation, our support, encouragement, and prayers can show them that they are not alone in their journey back to normalcy.

There will be cards and postcards to use to write to detainees. The church will mail them.

Donation of money would support the following:

detainee’s commissary account for purchase of snacks, personal items, and phone calls,

transportation upon release,
-
translator devices
-
Please write checks to Manistee UCC or give cash to Deb, Sandy or Dency; it will be delivered to them in a secure manner with assurance that the gifts will get to the people.
