Our Fundraising Campaign

Our church building definitely has a very spiritual "feel" about it. Everyone who enters the sanctuary knows that they are in a special place, a place where they can feel God’s love and sense the presence of the many people who have worshiped here for well over one hundred years.

The fact that we have been able to take care of this building and keep it in good shape is a strong testament to the quality of our congregations through the years. It is now our turn to step up and do our part by contributing to our building’s well-being.

Making a significant contribution/pledge is not easy for anyone. We ask that you please envision the amount you would like to contribute to this campaign if there were no limit to your finances - and then prayerfully and creatively think of how you can accomplish your desired contribution.

Donors in the past have considered methods such as paid-up insurance policies, appreciated stocks (there are many advantages of giving stocks and even real estate - check with your tax advisor), and then there is what most of us will do - stretch the payment over three years.

The cost of current needs total $465,000 and are as follows:

Repair of Tiffany Window $150,000+

Repair of Organ $85,000

Repair of Clock Tower $20,000

Install Elevator $170,000*

Work on Restrooms $20,000

Work on Parking Lot $20,000

New Heating System $114,000

This is a lot of money, but working together, we can do this! These are repairs that need to be addressed now if we are to keep our building in good shape, especially the stained glass windows.

We appreciate your contribution and pledge to this capital campaign. If you are a member of the church, please remember that it is important for you to maintain your regular giving for the support of the congregation’s activities. Pledges can be made over a three year period.
